Water – Our Lifeblood

Water is an absolute necessity of life and yet so many people don’t drink enough! Just going about an average day will use up about 10 cups of our bodies water without any extra exercise. Throw in a good workout and we really need replenishing. Only water can do that.

Most people who are dehydrated are also fully unaware of it. If you’re feeling tired, moody, and/or fatigued, chances are you’re suffering from dehydration.

If you’re overweight and retaining water the cure is to drink more water because when your body is deprived of its most precious resource, it holds on for dear life! The exact opposite occurs when you start feeding your body more water, it will begin to release the excess because it’s being told – don’t worry, no need to hold on to water – you are being replenished.

If you struggle with cellulite on your butt and thighs, you need to drink more water! Cellulite is the result of a diet that is high in hidden fats and salts combined with drinking a limited amount of water.

Being that we live in California where we’re enduring nearly a decade of drought, it’s more important than ever to be mindful of how much we use and to use it wisely.

When it comes to a healthy diet, plain and simple, we should not be drinking calories. We should be drinking water. Our bodies are nearly 70 percent water!

Water is one of the most neglected nutrients of all even though it is not categorized as a nutrient. It is crucial to every function of the body, including temperature regulation, blood circulation, metabolism, the immune response system, and of course the elimination of waste.
